The Social Media Coordinator will implement a social media strategy to increase CSW’s overall reach and brand awareness online. The social media coordinator will create digital content, manage day-to-day social media operations, engage with followers, and work collaboratively with the CSW team to promote our projects and values.

Description

Reporting to our Social Media Specialist, you’ve got a serious media game. Amongst your friends, you’re the one they look to for advice on how to collect more likes, and build a following. You’re excited and energized by building a loyal base of followers on a variety of social media channels and you’re a trendsetter with an eye for the “WOW” factor. You know what to say and how-to hashtag to catch the attention of our loyal followers and strike an interest in those who’ve yet to discover CSW. Fun, creativity, and passion are at the top of your values list as you capture moments related to share with the growing CSW community.

Your Responsibilities

As the social media coordinator you will:

• Build and execute a social media strategy in collaboration with the Social Media Specialist

• Create, schedule, and post social media content on Facebook and Instagram

• Build CSW’s online presence through commenting, following, and engaging with CSW followers

• Collaborate with the Operations and Fundraising teams to promote CSW projects and events

Qualifications

• You’re experienced using a variety of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

• You have strong written communication skills and pay attention to detail

• You work well under pressure and in fast changing environments

• You can work independently and as part of a team

• You are passionate about CSW’s vision and you want to make a difference in the world

• Knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe software is a bonus (ex. Word, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

The Fine Print

We’re asking for a time commitment of 5 hours per week and work can be done from home. Additional time requirements may be needed during special events, media campaigns, and project roll-outs. You must also be able to attend regularly scheduled team meetings (online and/or in person)
