2nd Annual Botshabelo Benefit Concert
This past week we celebrated with our friends, family and community at the 2nd Annual Botshabelo Benefit Concert at Heritage Hall. In partnership with Deghan Munn and Raquel Dominguez, we teamed up to raise money for the Botshabelo community in Magaliesburg, South Africa. The ultimate goal was to raise as much as we could to launch a solar panel project for Botshabelo. We can officially say, we're on our way! Our hard work and support from friends, family and the community allowed us to raise over $20K to get the project started.
The night kicked off with the delicious home made treats made by our families and volunteers, and a silent auction with various items donated from the community. After some time to mingle, meet and greet and bid, we tuned in to the musical stylings of Dante Hadden. Man, this 20-year-old has talent. His buttery soft voice and heart-warming lyrics had the crowd in awe. Following Dante, we welcomed Colin James and The Odds to the stage for a seriously groovin' two part set. Our guests danced and sang at the top of their lungs to some Colin James originals and classic covers. Not a single soul in the house was still.
CSW hosted a custom bracelet making station, which was definitely a hit. Meanwhile, our volunteers worked the bar all night, seriving up refreshments donated by Central City Brewery and Tinhorn Creek Winery. Our incredible photographers, Jordyn Taylor and Vanessa Fukuyama captured photos from the event. Hello photobooth!
Our team had an incredible night with our guests and couldn't be more joyed by the event's success. We would like to extend an attitude of gratitude to our guests, volunteers, families and friends who supported us. We wanted to thank the performers and stage crew who made the concert possible. Lastly, we wanted to acknowledge each and every one of our event sponsors:
